Is Dallal free for customers?
Yes, and it stays free for customers. You sign in with Google and start earning at any partner salon, with no subscription and no fees. Your rewards and visit history live in one wallet you can open anytime.
How do customers earn and redeem rewards?
At the counter, you show a signed, single-use QR code and the salon scans it to log your visit or the amount you spent. Depending on the offer, you earn per visit or per riyal, and your wallet shows how close you are to the next reward. Hit the target and you redeem it right there.
Do I need to download an app or buy hardware?
No app to download, no hardware to buy. Customers use their phone browser and sign in with Google; salons run the terminal on any tablet or phone they already own. Nothing to plug in, nothing to maintain.
Which Saudi cities does Dallal cover?
Dallal works across the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, and it's open to salons in other Saudi cities too. Customers use the Explore feed to find partner salons nearby. The more salons that join, the more the map fills in.
Does Dallal work in Arabic?
Yes. Dallal is fully bilingual in Arabic and English, with complete right-to-left support. Every screen, from the customer wallet to the owner dashboard, reads naturally in Arabic. Pick the language that suits you and switch anytime.
How does a salon join and get verified?
You sign up, add your salon details and branches, and set your first reward offer. Our team reviews your business so customers can trust the listing before it goes live on Explore. Once you're verified, you can start scanning QR codes at the counter that same day.
How much does Dallal cost for salons?
Salons start on a free tier and move to a paid plan as they grow. Plans are billed with ZATCA-compliant VAT invoices, and one subscription covers multiple branches from a single dashboard. Pick the tier that fits your number of branches and offers.
How does the branch terminal work at the counter?
The terminal is a web page you open on any tablet or phone at reception. Your cashier scans the customer's QR to log a visit or spend, applies the reward once it's earned, and the wallet updates on the spot. Each cashier signs in with their own staff account, so you can see who did what.
Is my data safe?
Dallal is built to comply with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Credentials are encrypted, and every QR code is signed and single-use, so it can't be copied or reused. Customer and salon data stays protected on both sides of the counter.
Are Dallal invoices ZATCA-compliant? Is VAT included?
Yes. Salon subscription invoices include 15% Saudi VAT, and receipts carry a ZATCA-compliant simplified-invoice QR code.
How do salons pay their subscription?
Each month an invoice appears in the dashboard's Billing tab, payable online through a secure payment page. Once paid, the receipt — with its VAT breakdown and ZATCA QR — stays available in the same tab.
What happens if a salon's invoice isn't paid on time?
Nothing breaks immediately — there's a grace period. If an invoice stays unpaid past it, paid placements like Explore visibility and city pinning are paused. Once the invoice is settled, they're restored automatically — including any remaining pinned days.
How do I delete my account or export my data?
Customers can download a copy of their data and permanently delete their account anytime from Settings, in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
What do customers need to sign up?
Just a Google account. During the quick onboarding you add your first name, Saudi mobile number, and city — and where enabled, the number is verified with an SMS code.
